Anesthesia for companion animals has never been safer. Our veterinarians take special interest in anesthesia and we pride ourselves on our careful selection of anesthetics for our patients.
We commonly anesthetize high-risk patients such as those with liver or kidney disease, diabetes, and thyroid problems. Included with most of our surgeries are IV fluids, EKG, pulse oximetry, blood pressure, and vital sign readings.
In addition, each pet has a dedicated surgery technician who stays at your pet's side through sedation to recovery to quickly identify problems and to make sure your pet is clean and comfortable. Sadly, these steps are not taken at many veterinary hospitals.
