Meet Our Doctors

Dr. John Lutz was born in Lima, Ohio. He graduated with honors with a B.A. in Zoology from Miami University (in Oxford, Ohio) and went on to get a D.V.M. at Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. Between 1982 and 1986 He practiced in Gownada, NY, Langdon Vet Hospital in Meadville, PA and Western Reserve Vet Hospital in Pierpont, OH. In October 1986, he purchased Huber Animal Hospital from Dr. Frank Huber and renamed it Wintergreen Animal Hospital. In October 2004, he moved Wintergreen Animal Hospital to a newly built facility just one mile south of its old location. |

Dr. Debbie Lutz was born in Aurora, IL .She graduated with honors with a B.A. in Zoology from Miami University (in Oxford, Ohio) and went on to get a D.V.M. at Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. Dr. Debbie is currently employed by the United States Department of Agriculture as a Public Health Veterinarian and works part-time at Wintergreen Animal Hospital.

Dr. Amanda Jones graduated with honors from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She and her husband and the rest of the family--4 cats, 2 dogs, several fish, and a horse--have lived in Erie since 2006 when Dr. Amanda joined the Wintergreen team. She has a special interest in emergency and internal medicine.
